A STROLL AROUND JING'AN

Malls are a big thing in Shanghai. Like, there's literally one (or two) on every block of the downtown area. You go in a mall, you look around, go out, and oh what do you see there? Three other malls next door waiting to be explored. But I'm not complaining though. I love malls, I always have. Especially on a hot summer day in Shanghai, you kinda need to take an AC break every 10 minutes or so from walking outside (yeah, the humidity here is that serious). So I'm always chilling in the Jing'an area, since our Mandarin Language school is located here. And boy, they have probably some of the most gorgeous malls I've ever seen. The other day, we visited REEL, which is an upscale mall selling luxurious brands. Every inch of that mall is Instagram worthy. I've never seen a mall with the many architectural details. Not only that, all the stores inside are also perfectly decorated, to the T. We even found a rooftop terrace where you have an amazing (and free) view of the city. And we had the rooftop all to ourselves, so we had to take obligatory outfit pictures.
