Seesaw Coffee in Shanghai

This café is definitely what you would call "Instagram worthy". It's located in the hip Shanghai neighbourhood of Jing'an, located in the downtown area. Getting there was a bit tricky though, as you have to pass by many small streets that are all very similar, and the entrance is located in a random, small, driveway/alley. It was quite a journey to get there, but that's what makes this café so unique. When you get to the entrance door, you can't really see what the inside looks like. All you see is bricks, pavement, and parked cars. But once you enter the store, it's like the magical door to Narnia. High ceilings three storeys high, skylights all across the ceiling, modern and minimalistic curved stairs. The interior of the café is so bright and airy, every Instagram picture we took there had not only amazing lighting, but also a very nicely-decorated background. If you're wondering if the café is three storeys big from the pictures, it's not. It would've been cool if it was, but the café is actually placed in a design center. The upper floors are allocated for meeting rooms and studios, which explains the crazy nice decor of the building.

Even the floor tiles are so nice that we had to take a picture of it. So after we took many many pictures of the interior and after being stared at by basically everyone in the café, we proceeded to order our drinks. We got lattes and iced chocolate drink, which were obviously overpriced like every other Western-style restaurants in Shanghai. But they were very well-made and the service was excellent. They even speak English, which really facilitated the ordering process.
